A little about me…

Hi, my name’s Nishat and I make everything by hand on a potters wheel at a shared studio space in South London.

I predominantly work with stoneware creating functional ceramics. Most of my work is influenced by my experiences and the people around me. I enjoy using simple forms and colours in my tableware as a way to display and elevate food.

I graduated with First Class Honours in BA Ceramic Design from Central Saint Martins in London.

Specialising in surface patterns and glaze’s showcasing contrasting and complimentary designs, that played with layering of materials and techniques. Which I had found ceramics to be a beautiful, and challenging medium to do so in.

I hope to be able to explore and experiment more with patterns, textures and glazes through mini projects in between drops and my day job.
